Setting Up and Checking Webmail Email (Hawaii Volcanic)

Checking Your Email Using Webmail & Changing Your Password

To check your email using webmail, visit the following URL and log in using your assigned email address and password:

http://hawaiivolcanic.com/webmail

Upon logging in, you will see 3 webmail interfaces to choose from: Horde, Roundcube, and SquirrelMail (we recommend using Roundcube). On the dashboard, you will also have the option to change your password by clicking “Password & Security.”

Configuring Your Email On iPhone

To configure your account on iPhone, use the following settings:

1. Add Account > Other > Add Mail Account
2. On this screen, enter the following:
   Name: Your name
   Email: Your full Hawaii Volcanic email address
   Password: Your email password
   Description: (Optional)
3. On the next screen, make sure these settings are entered:Incoming Mail Server
   Host Name: mail.hawaiivolcanic.com
   User Name: Email: Your full Hawaii Volcanic email address
   Password: Your email password
   Outgoing Mail Server
   Host Name: mail.hawaiivolcanic.com
   User Name: Email: Your full Hawaii Volcanic email address
   Password: Your email password
   Note: Even though it says “Optional” for User Name and Password, these must be filled out as indicated above.
4. On the next screen, make sure “Mail” is turned on, “Notes” is optional. Click “Save.”

Configuring Your Email for Apple Mail (Desktop)

Before you begin, make sure that you remove any existing copies of your email account. You can do this by clicking Mail > Accounts.

1. Select Mail > Add Account. In the first window that pops up, select “Other Mail Account.”
   
2. In the next window, use the following settings:
   Name: (Enter your first/last name as you would like it to appear in your emails)
   Email Address: Enter your full email address
   Password: Your email password
   
3. In the next window, you may see a red error message at the bottom. Disregard this message and enter the following information, then click “Sign In” when you’re finished.
   Email Address: Enter your full email address
   User Name: Enter your full email address
   Password: Your email password
   Account Type: IMAP
   Incoming Mail Server: mail.hawaiivolcanic.com
   Outgoing Mail Server: mail.hawaiivolcanic.com
   
4. On the next screen, make sure Mail is checked, Notes is optional. Then click “Done.”
5. If you are unable to connect to your mail, and you have double checked that all of your settings match the examples above, please contact us for support.

Configuring Your Email for an External Mail Client

To configure your account for an external mail client, use the following settings:

Username: user@hawaiivolcanic.com
Password: Use the email account’s password.

Incoming Server: host.weblogik.com
IMAP Port: 993
POP3 Port: 995

Outgoing Server: host.weblogik.com
SMTP Port: 465

Authentication is required for IMAP, POP3, and SMTP.
